[0] => 广东理工职业学院是以工科为主、文理兼融的省属公办高等职业院校，与广东开放大学实行“两块牌子，一套班子”的管理体制，资源共享，优势互补。学校成立于2005年，2021年入选省域高水平高等职业院校建设计划建设单位，2022年与广东省理工职业技术学校实施“集团办学”。学校获批为省博士工作站，是教育部现代学徒制试点单位，是省1+X证书制度试点工作办公室和广东终身教育学分银行落户单位，是省依法治校示范校、省绿色学校和全国高职服务贡献典型学校。
学校设有广州校本部、白云山校区、中山校区和南海校区，现有在校生1.59万人。主校区位于伟人孙中山故里中山市，坐落在风景如画的五桂山，占地1000余亩。

学科专业
学校以服务经济社会高质量发展为导向，推动学科专业与产业链、创新链、人才链相互匹配、相互促进，开设专业47个。老年学入选广东省重点建设学科，立项建设思想政治教育、计算机科学与技术、机械工程、管理学、艺术学5个校级学科，形成“1+5+N”学科发展格局。社会工作、物联网应用技术入选高等职业教育创新发展行动计划国家级骨干专业，社会工作入选全国职业院校养老服务类示范专业，文化产业管理入选省级特色专业，物联网应用技术、社会工作、软件技术入选省品牌专业，计算机网络技术入选省重点专业，标准化工程入选省级应用型人才培养示范专业，计算机网络技术、物联网应用技术、电子商务、智慧健康养老服务与管理入选省高职院校高水平专业群。
师资队伍
学校师资力量雄厚，拥有一支结构合理、水平较高的师资队伍。现有高级职称200人、博士73人、硕士545人，“双师素质”教师395人，全国技术能手、全国优秀教师和全国模范教师7人，省高校教学名师、“广东特支计划”教学名师及省优秀教师、省五一劳动奖章获得者28人。9名教师被聘为省本科高校教学指导委员会委员，16名教师被聘为全国行业职业教育教学指导委员会及省职业院校教学指导委员会委员。17名教师入选省高职教育技能大师工作室、省高校优秀青年教师培养计划和省高等职业院校高层次技能型兼职教师。同时，还聘请了一批国内外专家学者、学科专业和课程建设领军人物，指导和推进学科专业和课程建设。
教学科研
学校积极深化教育教学改革，获国家级教学成果二等奖2项，省级教育教学成果特等奖1项、一等奖3项、二等奖9项，主持建设国家级、省级社会工作专业教学资源库。学校持续深化产教融合、校企合作，合作企业入选全国产教融合型企业。学校是全国智慧健康养老产业产教融合共同体、全国智慧海洋与大数据技术应用行业产教融合共同体和省物联网产业职业教育集团牵头单位，是全国职业教育民政行业教学指导委员会副主任委员单位和校企合作专门委员会主任委员单位、省高职教育公安司法与公共管理专业教指委主任委员单位。学校设有国家职业技能鉴定所，建有校内外实训实践教学基地200余个，拥有数字资源库29个。学校科研水平不断提升，获广东省科技进步奖二等奖1项，先后获批粤港澳大湾区老年教育研究基地、粤港澳大湾区智慧健康养老研究中心、智慧养老人才培养产教融合实训基地、智能机器人产教融合创新中心等省级平台20多个，获“数字教育促进学习型社会与学习型大国建设研究”等国家社科基金、全国教育规划、教育部人文社科、省重大科技、省自然科学基金、省哲学社会科学规划、省教育厅科研项目240多项，获评省级科研团队3个，获得专利、软著等近300项。
人才培养
学校全面落实立德树人根本任务，坚持“三全”育人、“五育”并举，聚焦统筹“三教”协同创新，深入推进“三融”发展，深化人才培养模式改革，开展三二分段专升本协同育人，是省高职与开放本科衔接人才培养、中职与开放专科一体化人才培养试点院校，与普通高校共建研究生联合培养基地，构建了从中职、高职/专科、本科到研究生的上升通道。近年来获全国和全省职业院校技能大赛奖项196多项、全国和全省田径锦标赛金牌10多枚、“挑战杯”广东大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛特等奖2项等。累计培养毕业生近6万人，毕业生毕业去向落实率和专升本录取率连续多年位居全省高校前列。
社会服务
学校主动服务和融入积极应对人口老龄化和健康中国战略，建立覆盖全省的老年教育办学网络，打造老年学学科生态，校企共建健康产业学院，服务全省老年人2700万人次。
主动服务和融入乡村振兴战略，校地协同推动办学网络下沉、专业建设下沉、教学模式下沉，打造了乡村振兴教育“云浮模式”，获得全国高校服务乡村振兴教育“时代先锋奖”并已在全省53个市县推广落地。
主动服务和融入粤港澳大湾区建设战略，编制并发布了全国首个省级地方标准《广东终身教育资历框架等级标准》，建立以资历框架为内在逻辑的广东终身教育资历名册，研制了我省学分认定和转换制度，推进粤港资历框架对接和粤港澳教育培训交流合作，建设了全国领先的学分银行实体中心，助力人才高地建设及大湾区人才流动。
国际交流
学校积极推进国际化进程，与法国宜世高等精神运动与康复学院、德国哥廷根私立应用技术大学、新西兰尼尔森·马尔伯勒理工学院、泰国程逸皇家大学等高校建立了交流与合作关系。与中国计量大学、清华大学、北京大学等发起成立全球首个“一带一路”标准化教育与研究大学联盟。与新西兰尼尔森·马尔伯勒理工学院的合作办学项目入选第六届世界职业教育大会主办的“职业院校国际交流与合作办学优秀案例汇编”。广东终身教育学分银行实践探索多次入选联合国教科文组织典型案例。
